Multi-factor authentication (MFA) has long been viewed as one of the most important slayers of cybercrime – providing some leverage against simply using passwords alone. But as time has shown, solutions to address the evolving issues of cyber threats, MFA is not impervious. Coupled with the increase in MFA failures is the rising trend in cybersecurity ransomware costs. It would appear that companies are now prone to the highest risks with regard to their cybersecurity strategies.
